Deirdre {A Burst of First}

Hi Everyone!!

I'm so excited it is finally my turn to say "KAPOW"!

My name is Deirdre (Dear-dra) and I blog over at A Burst of First. I loved reading blogs for several years before I got up the guts to start my own about a year and a half ago. Gosh, I wish I'd done it earlier. It has expanded me so much as a teacher and a person!! 

I think my little intro pretty much sums me up. 

Pizza, wine and double knots...yup, that's me!

I probably didn't start blogging earlier because I was too busy with these cuties.

I have three SUPER children. They are 6, 4 and 3 and they keep me crazy busy. We are just out of the woods on diapers and toddlerhood and are now heading towards shuttling to soccer, dance, hockey, swim, etc., etc.! They all have hilarious big personalities and I love to be with them. 

When I'm not being a mom, I'm being a teacher. This is my 7th year in first grade. I do love this age. They think you are the best thing ever and every word that comes out of your mouth it gold! I wish my husband hung out in my class more {wink}. 

While I love blogging I think Instagram is my favorite platform. As a busy mom it's a great way for me to share with you what we did that day! I'm also Facebook quite a bit too!

These are fun clothespin centers that your students will love! It's so fun to mix up practicing our skills new and different ways. Kids will have a blast clipping they won't even know it's a learning activity. I'm SUPER sneaky like that. Ha!
