Heather {Second Grade Perks}

Hey everyone! It's Heather from Second Grade Perks.

I am so thrilled to be a part of this amazing new blog with some amazing blogging buddies. I have truly been inspired by these ladies and know that you will too so thanks for checking us out and I hope you continue along this journey with us.

To introduce myself, this is my sixth year teaching. I taught kindergarten my first year, moved to fifth for one year and have been in second for four years now. I am so blessed to be able to say that I love getting up in the morning and going to work. Just thinking about my classroom and my students makes my heart smile.

At home I am a wife and mother. I have been married for 7 years to an amazing husband who does everything in the world to make sure I am happy and relaxed. My first baby is my fur baby, Tucker. I have a three-year old daughter, Tinley and am due in January with our second daughter, Adelyn. I have lived in Tennessee my whole life right in the same area. Life is just peachy right now in my world!

To thank you for stopping by today I want to offer this super hero themed freebie. Students will look at word cards and decide how to make it plural and then sort it on the correct mat. There is a recording sheet to go with it.Click {HERE} for the download.

To celebrate the beginning of Primary Powers we have a big deal going on at Educents right now where you can get 21 downloads at 70% off. You can click {HERE} to check this out and {HERE} to get an additional $10 off your purchase.

Thanks for stopping by! I would love for you to check out my blog too!

  2. I love this freebie! I just introduced this skill last week. This will be great to spiral back with in centers.

  3. I love the plural noun sort! It's a skill that my students always need to review. It was so nice to read more about you!

    Primarily Speaking

  4. My students always struggle with those tricky plural spellings. Thank you so much for this! :)
